ART, HISTORY AND TAILOR-MADE ITINERARIES
Guided tours in Florence: private and tailored to you
I am Giulia Bacci, a licensed tour guide and art historian. I offer private tours in Florence and personalised guided tours in English, Italian and French for couples, families, groups and associations.
We can explore the masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia, step inside historic palaces and basilicas, walk through the historic centre, or create an itinerary devoted to the Medici, Michelangelo or the lesser-known side of Florence.
Each private tour is planned around your interests, the time available and the pace of the participants.

SQUARES, BRIDGES AND NEIGHBOURHOODS
Walking tours in Florence’s historic centre
A guided walk reveals how Florence developed over time and how civic, religious and family history transformed its squares, palaces and neighbourhoods.
We can plan a first introduction to the city, a themed itinerary or a tour designed for visitors who have only a few hours available. If you would like to explore beyond the historic centre, discover my Fiesole guided tour.
How much time do you have?
Start with one of these itineraries and we will adapt it to your interests.
ART AND SPIRITUALITY
Guided tours of Florence Cathedral, churches and basilicas
The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella, Santo Spirito, San Lorenzo, San Miniato al Monte and Santissima Annunziata preserve masterpieces, civic memories and centuries of spiritual life. We can explore one complex in depth or connect several churches in a single itinerary.
FLORENCE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
Guided tours for families with children
With children, the language, pace and way of looking all change. I create tours that engage younger visitors through stories, curiosities and details to discover in artworks and around the city.
The tour is adapted to the children’s age and may focus on the historic centre, a museum or a particular theme.
Visit a temporary exhibition in Florence
I can also accompany you through temporary exhibitions at Palazzo Strozzi and other venues in Florence, helping you understand both the artworks and the curatorial concept.
A visitor’s experience with Giulia
