Eating Florence
The traditional florentine cooking is famous in all the world! I have selected for my customers very good places where you can eat dishes made with high quality.
In the heart of Florence I use to accompany my clients at Diladdarno Trattoria, where the Chef Saverio and his family will welcome you with warmth and kindness.
If we go just out from the ancient walls that were in Florence, there are the Cinque Sensi, a restaurant with an international quality, expertly managed by Giovanni Sindaco. Close to the Restaurant there is the Wine bar coordinated by his collegue and friend Fabio Antonini.
If you want to taste gourmet refinements or a glass of good wine in the hills of Florence, we can go in Settignano, where Michele Biusanero and his wife Francesca waiting for you at the Caffè Desiderio.
Where sleeping in the City and Surrouding area
First of all I’d like to present “Il Rifugio”, my apartment. It is very close to the florentine centre, able to host families or small groups up 4 people. If you want to know more about it you can visit the page of the apartment on my web site.
Other places that I suggest are Casa Medici, the apartment of Alessandro Lozzi, in the quartier of San Lorenzo, and the Chianti Country House Il Vicchiaccio close to Tavarnelle, managed by Massimo e Beatrice. It is a beautiful place immersed in the Chianti vineyards of the Gabbiano Castle. The place that reflects the typical rural florentine tradition.
Finally I suggest you Casa Martini, a beautiful agritourism in the Chianti, managed by Beatrice Martini. She offers homemade organic products and interesting yoga seminars.
