What to see in Florence in one day: in this page I propose you an itinerary visiting Florence in one day, starting with a walking tour revealing the wondering places of the right side of the city.
The first part of the day is dedicated to a tour starting by its history, with Santa Maria Novella, the Dante’s Florence, ending in Signoria Square.

After the first part and a stop in a typical trattoria in Oltrarno, we could start our trip on the left side of the City, called by the Florentines Diladdarno.


Viewing Florence in one day we could start by the Augustinian convent of Holy Spirit.It is a light of a theological reflection and a cultural point of refer (for example Francesco Petrarca passed from here.)

The Chapel is lighted by the life power left by Masaccio, the elegance and the kindness of Masolino and the news introduced by Filippino.


Pitti Square, with its third Medici Palace, bought in the 1549 by Eleanor from Toledo, wife of Cosimo I, closed one of the tours in Oltrarno.
A great alternative to visit Florence in one day could be starting by Michelangelo Square, visiting the monastery of San Miniato al Monte and descend through the Roses Garden that offers unique views and ancient perfumes, joining the characteristic quartier of SanNiccolò. Bardi street goes to The Old Bridge and Pitti Square, where the tour ends.
It is possible join Pitti Palace also with the urban trekking Roses Garden, Bardini Garden, Boboli Garden: a wonderful walking over Florence with spectacular views.
